- Can someone please help me with Final Writers Outline mode?
- The documentation suggests you have to create (write) your
- document complete with all the special heading fonts and styles
- before you can create an outline, suggesting that the outline
- is generated from a completed document. If that is so why bother
- with an outline?
-
- I expected to be able to create an outline all by itself and to
- juggle the arrangement of titles and subtitles until I was
- satisfied with the structure. Then I thought that the outline
- would generate the document in the same structure as the outline.
- Similarly I thought that any changes made in the outline including
- section rearrangements would then cause the document to rearrange
- itself to match. In other words the outline is for organizational
- purposes, used prior to creating the document.
-
- How is Final Writer's "Outline Mode" supposed to work and how do
- you get started? I find the documentation confusing. Woody,
- where are you when I need you?
-
- Regards,
- Don Routledge
